JOB TITLE - Laboratory Technician (temporary maternity cover)
LOCATION - Buxton
MAIN DUTIES/
RESPONSIBILITIES
·To carry quality control chemical and physical testing of lime products
·To carry customer pre despatch testing
·To cover weighbridge
EXPERIENCE/
QUALIFICATIONS
·A level or good GCSE standard
·Ideally, IT familiarity with Excel, Word, LIMS and SAP
·Previous laboratory experience an advantage, but full training will be provided to allow the successful applicant to undertake test work both as a member of a team and independently in shift work situations
HOURS OF WORKShift pattern as follows
Week 1 - 5pm to 1am Monday to Friday
Week 2 - 11am to 7pm Monday to Friday
Week 3 - 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday
Week 4 - 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday,
7am to 3pm Saturday once per month
Provide call out cover for 1 weekend in 5 an absence cover when on the 8am to 4pm shift.
